Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Evaluates Kashmir Security, Emphasizes Importance of Inter-Agency Coordination
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the Army Commander of the Northern Command, recently undertook a visit to several crucial formations and units located in both North and South Kashmir. The purpose of his visit was to thoroughly assess the current operational environment and evaluate the readiness concerning security measures.

Throughout his tour, Lt Gen Sharma examined the readiness on the ground and the ongoing efforts related to counter-terrorism and counter-infiltration in strategic areas. He engaged with personnel at the Joint Control Center, where he underscored the necessity of coordinated efforts, unified leadership, and seamless collaboration among all involved parties to effectively address emerging threats.

The Army Commander emphasized that increased collaboration between different agencies is crucial to achieve dynamic operational control, facilitate real-time intelligence exchange, and enhance situational awareness.
