Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Assesses Security Measures in Kashmir Valley
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, who leads the Northern Command of the Indian Army, convened a significant meeting in Srinagar to assess the current security status in the Kashmir Valley.
In this meeting, the Army Commander engaged with Formation Commanders and representatives from allied agencies to discuss the present security conditions and cooperative measures. The primary focus of these deliberations was on fortifying the counter-terrorism framework, improving inter-agency cooperation, and ensuring a high level of operational preparedness to tackle emerging threats.

Lt Gen Sharma highlighted the critical need for continuous vigilance, flawless coordination, and operations driven by mission objectives to sustain peace and stability in the region.
Reiterating the commitment of the Northern Command, he stressed the unwavering dedication of the Indian Army to safeguard the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
