Jammu, January 31, 2026 – Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, who leads the Northern Command of the Indian Army, visited the Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the counter-terrorism strategies and overall operational readiness. This inspection took place amid an ongoing joint anti-terror operation known as Operation Trashi-I, where security forces regained contact with Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists in the Dolgam area.
