Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Assesses Anti-Infiltration Measures and Operational Readiness in North Kashmir

Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, who commands the Northern Command of the Indian Army, conducted a visit to North Kashmir to assess the anti-infiltration defenses and operational readiness along the Line of Control (LoC).

During his visit, Lt Gen Sharma received a briefing on the current security landscape, the measures in place to counter infiltration, and the effectiveness of surveillance and response systems in key areas. His assessment focused on the layered defense systems designed to thwart attempts of infiltration across the LoC.

The General engaged with soldiers stationed in difficult terrains, commending them for their resilience, courage, and unwavering dedication to duty. He praised their high morale and professionalism, which is crucial for maintaining an operational edge in such a sensitive region.
