Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Assesses Advanced Logistics Infrastructure at Leh's Air Movement Control Centre
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, who serves as the Army Commander for the Northern Command, made a visit to the Air Movement Control Centre and Logistics Hub in Leh. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the advanced logistics infrastructure that supports troops stationed in the remote and high-altitude border regions of Eastern Ladakh.

Throughout his visit, Lt Gen Sharma received a detailed briefing on how the logistics hub plays a crucial role in maintaining year-round operational readiness. This is achieved through effective air maintenance, swift troop movements, and the timely delivery of essential supplies, despite the challenging terrain and severe weather conditions.

The Army Commander took a close look at the modern material handling and logistics management practices currently in use to address the needs of contemporary warfare. He acknowledged the personnel for successfully utilizing advanced techniques to maintain a reliable, speedy, and resilient logistics chain.
