Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Evaluates Security Measures and Counter-Terror Operations in Surankote Sector

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, overseeing the White Knight Corps, conducted a visit to the Surankote area within the Poonch sector to evaluate the current security conditions and progress in counter-terrorism efforts.

Throughout his visit, the Corps Commander was briefed about the counter-terrorism network, the setup for intelligence gathering, and the coordination mechanisms between different agencies that are crucial for maintaining control in the region.

Lt Gen Mishra evaluated the region’s operational readiness and examined strategies to enhance vigilance and quick response capabilities in this sensitive area.

While engaging with the troops stationed there, he praised their high spirits, readiness for combat, and steadfast dedication to preserving peace and stability. He acknowledged their professionalism and commitment despite operating under challenging conditions.
