Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Assesses Security and Operational Preparedness in Rajouri Sector
Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, visited the forward areas in the Rajouri sector. Accompanied by the GOC of Romeo Force, he evaluated the current security situation and the operational readiness of the troops stationed there.
During his inspection, the Lieutenant General received briefings on the counter-insurgency operations, anti-infiltration strategies, and the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region. He praised the troops for their dedication, professionalism, and effectiveness in operations, recognizing their continuous efforts to secure the Anti-Infiltration Obstacle System (AIOS) and manage the challenges posed by the region's terrain.

The Corps Commander encouraged the soldiers to uphold the highest standards of readiness and vigilance. He highlighted the need for sustained synergy and operational alertness to effectively counter any emerging threats.
This visit underscored the Indian Army's ongoing commitment to robust counter-terrorism and border security operations in the sensitive Rajouri–Poonch region.
