Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Assesses Security and Operational Preparedness in Pallanwala and Rajouri

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, conducted a review of the security situation and operational readiness in the forward areas of Pallanwala and Rajouri. He was accompanied by the GOC of the Cross Swords Division and the GOC of Romeo Force.

During their visit, the senior military leaders carried out a detailed evaluation of the defense posture along the Line of Control (LoC) and assessed the effectiveness of the counter-terrorism strategies in place. The commanders received briefings on the operational readiness, surveillance systems, and the coordination efforts among various forces to tackle emerging security threats.

While interacting with the troops stationed in challenging terrains, Lt Gen Mishra praised their high state of alertness, combat preparedness, and professionalism. He acknowledged the soldiers’ resilience and determination in coping with strenuous operational conditions.

The visit underscored the Indian Army's steadfast dedication to maintaining vigilance, preparedness, and operational superiority, with troops remaining determined and ready to defend the country's borders at all times.
