Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Assesses Counter-Terrorism Efforts in Kishtwar
Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, the General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, recently conducted a visit to the Kishtwar region. He was accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) to evaluate the operational conditions and readiness of forces involved in ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed in detail on the integration of intelligence, measures for area domination, and the coordinated efforts carried out in partnership with other security agencies to maintain peace and stability in the region.

Lt Gen Mishra evaluated the current security dynamics in the region and inspected the operational readiness of troops stationed for operations in the sensitive hinterland areas.
During his interactions with the soldiers, he commended their steadfast commitment, readiness for combat, and constant alertness while operating in difficult terrain and under changing security conditions.
The visit underscored the White Knight Corps’s ongoing focus on proactive counter-terror operations, intelligence-driven coordination, and maintaining a high level of operational preparedness to ensure peace and security in Jammu and Kashmir.
