Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Assesses Counter-Terror Operations in Kishtwar

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, recently toured several sites in Kishtwar. Accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of the Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), he assessed the progress of ongoing counter-terrorism activities in the area.

During his visit, Lt Gen Mishra received updates about recent successful operations that led to the elimination of three terrorists backed by Pakistan, including a senior commander from the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). These operations were executed with precision, based on intelligence, and conducted in challenging terrains.

The Corps Commander praised the forces for their professionalism and operational acuity. He highlighted their excellent coordination and effective strategies in neutralizing threats and ensuring the security of the region. He expressed admiration for their persistent efforts and unwavering commitment to dismantling the terror networks operating within the hinterland.

Lt Gen Mishra reiterated the White Knight Corps’ dedication to national security, stressing the importance of sustaining operational momentum. He called for maintaining high levels of vigilance and continuing intelligence-driven proactive operations to secure lasting peace and stability in the region.
