Lt Gen PK Mishra Assesses Security and Preparedness at LoC
Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, who commands the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of the Ace of Spades Division, made a visit to forward locations along the Line of Control. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the current security conditions and the operational preparedness of the units under the Krishna Ghati Brigade.
During their time on the ground, the Corps Commander received detailed briefings on several aspects, including the operational deployment and surveillance architecture. The discussions also highlighted the measures being implemented to maintain a strong counter-infiltration grid within this critical sector. Infrastructure development and the readiness to respond promptly to potential threats were also part of the review.
Lt Gen Mishra took the opportunity to praise the troops for their continuous vigilance, effective area control, and psychological superiority over rival forces in the difficult operational settings. He acknowledged their professionalism, combat readiness, and high morale while operating in the forward regions along the LoC.
The visit highlighted the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to enhancing border security through advanced surveillance techniques, proactive troop deployment, and integrated operational strategies, aiming to ensure peace and stability in the area.
