Lt Gen P K Mishra Assesses Troop Operational Readiness in Poonch Sector
Lieutenant General P K Mishra, the General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, together with the General Officer Commanding of the Ace of Spades Division, conducted a visit to forward positions in the Poonch Sector. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the current security conditions and the operational readiness of troops stationed along the Line of Control.
During this visit, Lt Gen Mishra received a briefing on the operational situation, measures in place to counter infiltration, and troop deployments along critical areas of the LoC. He held discussions with soldiers enduring the challenging terrain and severe weather, commending their professionalism, vigilance, and commitment to duty.

The Corps Commander praised the troops for their steadfast dedication and high morale, which continue to maintain peace and stability in the region despite continuous threats from across the border. He urged all personnel to sustain a strong offensive stance and heightened surveillance to prevent any infiltration attempts, thereby preserving the integrity of India’s borders.

Lt Gen Mishra reaffirmed that the Indian Army is fully equipped to address any security challenges in the area, consistently upholding the highest levels of operational excellence and combat preparedness.
