Lt Gen Mohit Seth Reviews Troop Readiness in Rakhmuthi Sector Along LoC

Lieutenant General Mohit Seth, SM VSM**, General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, visited forward areas along the Line of Control in the Rakhmuthi Sector to assess operational readiness, the Indian Army said. He was accompanied during the visit by the GOC of the Crossed Swords Division.

The visit focused on reviewing the prevailing security environment and the operational posture in the sector. According to the information shared, the Corps Commander was briefed on the situation on the ground as well as the preparedness of the formations and troops deployed in the forward areas.

During the interaction with troops deployed along the Line of Control, Lieutenant General Seth appreciated the robust surveillance grid, continuous area domination and the high standards of operational preparedness maintained by the personnel in the sector.

He also urged all ranks to remain vigilant, professional and fully prepared to respond effectively to emerging challenges. The interaction, as described, reinforced the importance of sustaining a high state of readiness among troops deployed in forward locations.

The visit placed attention on the Army’s operational preparedness along the Line of Control, with senior leadership reviewing both the security situation and the posture of the troops stationed in the Rakhmuthi Sector.
