Lt Gen Manraj Singh Mann Reviews Combat Readiness of Trishakti Corps’ Striking Lion, Black Cat Divisions
Lieutenant General Manraj Singh Mann, SM**, General Officer Commanding of Trishakti Corps, visited the headquarters and forward areas of the Striking Lion and Black Cat Divisions to assess their operational preparedness and combat readiness.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the current operational posture of both formations, the level of preparedness they have maintained and the steps being taken to keep their combat readiness at a high standard. The review covered the measures in place to ensure that the divisions remain alert and ready for any operational requirement.
Lieutenant General Mann praised the troops of both divisions for their professionalism, vigilance and consistently high standards of readiness. He acknowledged their ability to stay prepared while operating in demanding conditions and commended the dedication shown by personnel across the formations.
He stressed that constant vigilance remains essential, and said operational preparedness must keep pace with the changing security environment. The Corps Commander urged the formations to continue improving their skills and strengthening their capabilities so that they can meet emerging demands effectively.
He also called on all ranks to stay focused on contemporary and emerging challenges through continuous training, innovation and adaptation. His message reflected the need for formations to keep evolving in step with the requirements of modern operations.
The interaction is part of the Indian Army’s wider emphasis on transformation and capability development under the Decade of Transformation initiative. The visit also reinforced Trishakti Corps’ commitment to sustaining a high level of operational readiness while continuing to upgrade its capabilities for future battlefield challenges.
