Lt Gen Manraj Singh Mann Assesses Operational Readiness in East Sikkim Forward Areas

In a continued initiative to reinforce India's frontline defenses along its eastern borders, Lieutenant General Manraj Singh Mann, who commands the Trishakti Corps, conducted a visit to forward areas in East Sikkim. The purpose of his visit was to assess the operational readiness and evaluate ongoing capability development in this strategically significant region.

During the visit, Lt Gen Mann engaged with troops stationed at high-altitude positions, praising them for their exceptional professionalism and dedication. He acknowledged their high state of readiness despite the challenging terrain and harsh weather conditions they face.

The lieutenant general also reviewed projects aimed at improving infrastructure to enhance mobility, surveillance, and combat effectiveness along the Line of Actual Control. He emphasized the necessity of maintaining peak operational readiness and morale, given the changing security landscape in the eastern theater.
