Lt Gen Manoj Katiyar Evaluates Vajra Corps' Operational Readiness, Visits Drone Manufacturing Facility

Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, who serves as the Army Commander for the Western Command, recently conducted a comprehensive assessment of the operational readiness of the Vajra Corps.

During his visit, Lt Gen Katiyar engaged with both officers and troops, commending their professionalism, dedication, and high morale. He highlighted that their unwavering commitment to national security amidst evolving challenges exemplifies the core values of the Indian Army.

As a part of his review, the General also inspected the Drone Manufacturing Hub established within the Corps. This facility signifies the Army's focus on indigenisation and the integration of advanced technology into its operational framework.

Emphasising the necessity of modern warfare readiness, Lt Gen Katiyar urged all military personnel to concentrate on their core responsibilities, adopt new technologies, and maintain a high level of preparedness to address any potential threats.

The visit underscored the Western Command's dedication to sustaining a strong operational stance along critical frontiers, while also advancing India's push towards greater self-reliance in defence technology.
