India and Germany Convene for 18th Military Cooperation Sub Group Meeting in New Delhi
The 18th Meeting of the India-Germany Military Cooperation Sub Group (MCSG) took place in New Delhi from September 29 to 30, 2025. This event was organized under the supervision of the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS).
Representatives from the Indian Armed Forces alongside officials from the Office Department International Cooperation of the German Armed Forces assessed the progress of ongoing defence collaboration initiatives and considered new opportunities to enhance military relations between the two nations.
The discussions encompassed a broad range of topics, including organisational structures, joint logistics, military exercises, professional military education, exchanges of subject matter experts, military medicine, and collaborations in military hardware.
This meeting reinforced the mutual dedication of both countries to advance interoperability, share knowledge, and strengthen their defence partnership, highlighting the expanding strategic depth of relations between India and Germany.
