Lt Gen Manjinder Singh Concludes Command of Sapta Shakti Command After Four Decades of Service

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, holding the prestigious titles of PVSM, AVSM, YSM, and VSM, concluded his tenure with the Sapta Shakti Command on June 30, 2026, as he retired, ending an exemplary military career that spanned almost 40 years.

In the ceremonial farewell, the Army Commander first paid tribute to the nation's fallen heroes at Prerna Sthal, before inspecting a ceremonial Guard of Honour at the Jaipur Military Station.

Throughout his leadership, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh emphasized on operational preparedness, modernizing forces, and ensuring mission readiness within the command's jurisdiction.

In his final address, he urged personnel to adhere to the Command's motto, "Forever Victorious," encouraging them to continue pursuing operational excellence, foster innovation, and maintain a firm dedication to national service.
