Lt Gen Man Raj Singh Mann Reviews Trishakti Corps Operational Readiness at Binnaguri Military Station

The General Officer Commanding of the Indian Army’s Trishakti Corps has visited Binnaguri Military Station in West Bengal to review the formation’s operational preparedness and the measures being taken to strengthen its combat capability.

During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the formation’s readiness levels, its adoption of emerging technologies, and a range of initiatives aimed at improving mission effectiveness. The discussions centred on ensuring that troops and formations remain ready to respond to changing operational demands.

The Army said the focus on new technologies and capability enhancement is part of a wider effort to adapt to the changing character of warfare. The visit also reflected the emphasis being placed on preparedness, adaptability and technology-driven development under the Indian Army’s “Decade of Transformation” initiative.

The Corps Commander appreciated the professional standards maintained by the formation and commended the troops for their continued efforts to strengthen operational capabilities.

Binnaguri Military Station is an important military establishment in the eastern sector. The Trishakti Corps operates under the Indian Army’s Eastern Command and is responsible for strategically significant areas along India’s northern and eastern frontiers.

The Army described the formation’s approach as “Prepared, Adaptive, Future Ready”, a phrase it used to capture the unit’s focus on sustaining operational effectiveness while moving ahead with organisational and technological transformation.
