Lt Gen Madanraj Pande Reviews Operational Preparedness in Batalik, Urges High Vigilance Along LoC
Lt Gen Madanraj Pande, General Officer Commanding of Fire & Fury Corps, visited troops deployed in the forward areas of the Batalik Sub Sector to review the security situation and assess operational preparedness in one of the Army’s most demanding high-altitude environments.
The visit centred on the prevailing security environment along the Line of Control and the readiness of formations operating in the sector. Lt Gen Pande examined the measures being taken to maintain constant vigilance in forward positions, with particular attention to whether troops remain prepared to respond to emerging operational challenges.
Batalik is known for its difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions, which place heavy physical and operational demands on personnel deployed there. In such an environment, sustained readiness, alertness and effective deployment are essential to preserving security along the frontier.
