Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla Reviews Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, Inaugurates Advanced Training Facilities
Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, UYSM, SC, SM, VSM, the General Officer Commanding of the Fire and Fury Corps, visited the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre to evaluate significant training activities, development of infrastructure, and regimental initiatives focused on boosting operational capabilities.
During his visit, the Corps Commander reviewed the ongoing work aimed at enhancing training standards and improving facilities for troops operating in one of the Indian Army's most challenging environments.

A key moment of the visit was the inauguration of the newly constructed 'Chhering Nurbu' Training Hall and an advanced Indoor Containerised Shooting Range. These new facilities are anticipated to significantly enhance training effectiveness and provide improved infrastructure for skill development and marksmanship training.
Lt Gen Bhalla also observed a remarkable demonstration of lead climbing skills by regiment personnel, highlighting the specialized abilities needed for operations in mountainous and high-altitude areas. He recognized outstanding performers for their achievements and dedication to excellence.

Engaging with officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, and troops, the General Officer praised the Ladakh Scouts Regiment for their professionalism, high standards, and unwavering dedication to duty. He acknowledged their exceptional contributions to maintaining operational readiness and combat effectiveness in challenging high-altitude conditions.
The Corps Commander commended the regiment's ongoing focus on training, capability enhancement, and infrastructure development, emphasizing that these efforts are crucial for strengthening preparedness along India's northern borders.
