Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla Evaluates Security Preparedness in Batalik and Kargil, Praises Troops' Dedication
Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, the commanding officer of the Fire and Fury Corps, has conducted an inspection of forward posts in the Batalik and Kargil sectors. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the security status and the operational readiness of the troops stationed at these high-altitude areas along the Line of Control (LoC).

Throughout his visit, Lt Gen Bhalla received briefings on current developments in the region, the ongoing measures for operational preparedness, and the difficulties posed by severe weather and challenging terrain. He also assessed the infrastructure and logistics that support the soldiers operating in these strategically crucial areas.

While engaging with the troops positioned in some of the harshest and most rugged environments globally, Lt Gen Bhalla commended their professionalism, dedication, and steadfast commitment to protecting the nation's borders. He acknowledged the high morale and perseverance of the soldiers carrying out their duties under difficult conditions, emphasizing the vital need to maintain constant operational vigilance and readiness.

The General Officer reaffirmed the Corps' dedication to upholding top-tier combat preparedness and resilience, stressing that the Fire and Fury Corps remains alert and poised to respond effectively to any situation.
