Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, who serves as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Fire and Fury Corps, conducted a visit to forward posts of the Ultimate Force in Ladakh. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the operational preparedness and combat readiness of the troops stationed along this high-altitude frontier.

During this inspection, Lt Gen Bhalla carried out a comprehensive assessment regarding the operational stance, infrastructure, and readiness initiatives in these advanced areas. He received briefings on various aspects, including deployment patterns, surveillance systems, and the readiness to swiftly address emerging threats in one of India's most challenging operational settings.

Lt Gen Bhalla engaged directly with soldiers who operate in these remote and harsh terrains, commending their high levels of professionalism, endurance, and determination. He recognized the significant physical and mental challenges posed by high-altitude service and lauded the troops for maintaining elevated morale and vigilance despite the challenging weather and terrain conditions.

The GOC encouraged all personnel to persist in upholding the highest standards of operational excellence while swiftly integrating new technologies to boost situational awareness, mobility, and combat capability. His visit underscored the Indian Army's commitment to sustaining a robust, agile, and forward-looking force that is well-equipped to protect national interests in the Ladakh region.
