Lt Gen H S Sahi Takes Over as Rajput Regiment Hosts 33rd Biennial Conference
The Rajput Regiment held its 33rd Biennial Conference on Regimental Matters from December 5 to December 7, 2025, at the Rajput Regimental Centre. The event was a celebration of the regiment's rich legacy of bravery, professionalism, and pride in their traditions.
This gathering brought together notable figures, including veterans, active officers, Commanding Officers, and Subedar Majors associated with the regiment. A key moment of the conference was the dignified handover of Colonelcy from Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Command, to Lt Gen H. S. Sahi, the Commandant of the Army War College.

The transition of leadership, conducted with military decorum, underscored the regiment's steadfast values of honor and professional excellence. Lt Gen Sahi took on his new responsibilities with a profound respect for the regiment's storied history and a commitment to fostering its future development.

The biennial conference also provided an essential opportunity for discussing regimental issues and fostering camaraderie among both current and former members of the regiment.
