Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Supervises Annual Inspection at College of Defence Management, Emphasizes Military Education Reform

Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, distinguished with the PVSM and AVSM, conducted the Annual Administrative Inspection of the College of Defence Management (CDM) in Secunderabad on Sunday. This visit emphasized the Army's dedication to enhancing professional military education and adapting it to current operational demands.

During his inspection, Lt Gen Seth was informed about the institution’s military education programs, administrative procedures, and initiatives for fostering jointness, technology integration, and capability development. He emphasized the need to align training programs with the evolving requirements of modern warfare and engaged with faculty to explore ways to improve the delivery of professional military education.

Founded in 1970, CDM is a leading Tri-Service training institution that provides advanced educational courses, including Masters, MPhil, and doctoral levels, in partnership with Osmania University. Lt Gen Seth also assessed recent infrastructure enhancements, notably the new Married Accommodation Project (MAP), aimed at elevating living conditions for Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC) participants.

Lt Gen Seth, an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Indian Military Academy, and the French Collège interarmées de Défense, brings extensive operational and strategic expertise. His visit underscored the Army's ongoing transformation efforts to prepare future leaders for the complexities of the global and regional security environment.

The inspection concluded with an evaluation of key facilities and dialogues with senior officers, affirming CDM’s pivotal role in upholding high training and administrative standards within the Armed Forces.
