Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Opens Sudarshan and Konark Chowks at Pune Military Station
Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, has inaugurated two significant landmarks, Sudarshan Chowk and Konark Chowk, at the Pune Military Station in a move to honor the rich military heritage of the Indian Army.
The newly unveiled chowks pay homage to the legacy, bravery, and indomitable spirit of the Southern Command's notable formations, the Konark Corps and Sudarshan Chakra Corps, which have been instrumental in the nation's defense.

These installations add a distinct military character to a key area in Pune, a city renowned for its storied defense history. The chowks embody a blend of history, culture, and symbolism, representing the ethos and operational prowess of formations that have long been at the heart of India's security efforts.
