Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Evaluates Sure Swift Strikers' Operational Capabilities at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, recently undertook a visit to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Military Station. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the operational readiness of the Sure Swift Strikers formation.
During his time at the station, the Army Commander was presented with a Formation and Station Brief. This presentation covered key aspects such as operational commitments, areas of focus in training, significant infrastructure developments, and ongoing welfare initiatives being carried out by the formation.

A significant feature of the visit was an extensive demonstration involving Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS operations. The Army Commander observed an orchestrated display involving 40 drones that operated in unison, achieving coordinated swarm effects with remarkable precision. This demonstration highlighted the formation's advanced technical skills and readiness to tackle emerging threats in future combat scenarios.

Additionally, while touring the military station, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth received briefings on various welfare initiatives at the station, such as the Sainik Sahayata Kendra, which aims to provide support to veterans and their families. The visit underscored Southern Command’s focus on achieving operational excellence, complemented by a strong and responsive welfare support system for both active-duty personnel and veterans.
