Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Commends Southern Command Troops in Final Address Before Handover

As Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, prepares to step down from his role as General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, he addressed the ranks to commend their professionalism, dedication, and operational excellence.

During his address, Lt Gen Seth praised the troops for their exemplary performance in Operation Sindoor and highlighted the Command's significant advancements under the Decade of Transformation. He pointed out improvements in joint operations, the introduction of modern technologies and platforms, and the establishment of new operational structures. Additionally, he noted the implementation of innovative Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) that have bolstered operational capabilities.

The Army Commander emphasized that ongoing capability development and intensive training across varied terrains such as deserts, Rann, creek, and coastal sectors have sharpened Southern Command's combat readiness, ensuring preparedness for modern warfare.
