Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, who is the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, recently conducted an official visit to the Armoured Corps Centre and School (ACC&S) located at Ahilyanagar. This visit was part of his tour to assess current training and technological developments. During the visit, he praised the institution for its ongoing modernisation efforts, innovative training approaches, and infrastructure improvements that have bolstered its status as a leading training facility in the Indian Army.

Lt Gen Seth acknowledged ACC&S for its pioneering role in adopting new technologies, especially its leadership in Swarm Drone Training for the Indian Army. The centre has achieved significant progress in training programs focused on drones, counter-drone strategies, and autonomous systems. These advancements align with the Indian Army's 'Year of Technology Absorption' initiative and the more extensive 'Decade of Transformation' vision.

While engaging with officers, instructors, and faculty members, the Army Commander expressed admiration for their dedication and professionalism in driving innovation-focused training in armoured warfare.
