Lt Gen DG Misra Reviews Force Protection and Readiness in Tripeak Brigade Forward Areas

Lt Gen DG Misra, AVSM, General Officer Commanding, Uttar Bharat, visited the forward areas of Tripeak Brigade to review the formation’s operational preparedness and security posture along the frontier.

The visit focused on a detailed assessment of how troops are holding their ground in a difficult operational environment, with particular attention to force protection measures, the deployment of new generation equipment and the overall readiness of the formation to respond to emerging security challenges.

During the review, Lt Gen Misra examined the measures being implemented by troops to safeguard personnel and critical assets. He was briefed on the deployment and employment of new generation equipment being used by the formation, reflecting the Army’s continuing effort to improve surveillance, protection and operational effectiveness in demanding terrain.

The GOC also took stock of the security posture across the sector and assessed the preparedness of troops stationed in forward areas. The visit was aimed at ensuring that the formation continues to maintain a high degree of vigilance and remains capable of handling any developing security situation effectively.
