Lt Gen CG Muralidharan Reviews Medical Preparedness at Trishakti Corps
Lieutenant General CG Muralidharan, who serves as the Director General Medical Services (Army) and Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps (AMC), conducted a visit to the Trishakti Corps and its associated medical units on May 16, 2026. The purpose of his visit was to assess the operational medical preparedness and the healthcare infrastructure in place.
During his visit, Lt Gen Muralidharan received briefings on the operational capabilities of the medical facilities and the healthcare services provided in remote and challenging operational environments.

The General Officer conducted inspections of various medical facilities and had interactions with the medical teams tasked with delivering healthcare support during both combat and peacetime to troops stationed in diverse terrains.
In his address to the personnel, Lt Gen Muralidharan stressed the importance of integrating advanced technology with compassion, professional excellence, and a focus on patient-centric care to achieve world-class healthcare delivery within the Armed Forces.

The Director General Medical Services (Army) praised the medical units for their cohesive operation, high morale, and readiness to provide effective combat medical support under challenging operational conditions.
