The Director General Medical Services (Army), Lt Gen C.G. Muralidharan, who also serves as the Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps, paid an official visit to the Command Hospital (Northern Command) on November 22, 2025.

During his visit, Lt Gen Muralidharan received briefings on the ongoing development of a new hospital complex, the operations of major medical departments, and the various initiatives being undertaken to enhance patient care and satisfaction at the facility.

The senior officer inspected several critical care units, including the Intensive Care Unit and the Dialysis Centre, where he evaluated operational procedures and engaged with the medical personnel. He expressed his appreciation for the high standards of care provided and lauded the hospital's commitment to maintaining quality healthcare services.

According to officials, the General Officer commended the hospital for its persistent efforts in serving soldiers, veterans, and their families. He also acknowledged the facility's role in offering advanced medical care to the local civilian community, which significantly aids those in need of specialized treatment in the area.
