Lt Gen AVS Rathee Launches Konark Aeromodel Training Node to Enhance Military Training Capabilities
In a notable move towards enhancing military training through technology, Lt Gen AVS Rathee, the General Officer Commanding of Konark Corps, paid a visit to the newly launched Konark Aeromodel Training Node. This facility, overseen by the Blazing Skies Brigade, is a significant step in boosting operational readiness, aligning with the Army’s vision for a transformative decade.

The Aeromodel Training Node, a pioneering initiative within the Corps, is designed to enhance airspace navigation, improve target acquisition skills, and refine aerial threat analysis among troops. It also acts as a multidimensional training center, allowing Konark Air Defence personnel to train soldiers from different branches, thereby promoting comprehensive battlefield integration.

Officials have emphasized that the node signifies the dedicated efforts of Konark AD warriors in mastering new technologies to bolster combat readiness. The facility is poised to be instrumental in preparing troops for future combat scenarios where unmanned systems, aerial reconnaissance, and air defense coordination are pivotal for mission success.
