This development was officially marked by Lieutenant General Avinash Das, who inaugurated the technology shortly after taking over as the Commandant of the leading military medical facility.

This acquisition marks a significant advancement in the modernisation efforts of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), distinguishing it as the first of its kind in any governmental setup within India.
