Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta Evaluates Training Standards and Operational Readiness at Army Air Defence College, Gopalpur
Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command, conducted a visit to the Army Air Defence College located in Gopalpur. His visit aimed to assess the training standards, operational readiness, and administrative aspects of this key Air Defence training facility of the Indian Army.
During his tour, the Army Commander received briefings on the advanced infrastructure and facilities that have been established to enhance the training environment and improve the living conditions for troops and their families. He examined various aspects of the institution’s functioning designed to equip Air Defence personnel for the challenges of current and future combat scenarios.

Lt Gen Sengupta expressed his appreciation for the College’s cutting-edge training environment and the rigorous professional standards maintained to develop highly skilled Air Defence operatives. He observed an Integrated Air Defence Firepower Demonstration, which highlighted the coordinated engagement capabilities, technological expertise, and seamless system integration needed to meet emerging operational threats.

While engaging with the faculty and students, the Army Commander stressed the importance of honour, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to service.
