Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta Evaluates Operational Readiness and Drone Advancements at Golden Key Division
Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Surya Command, recently conducted a visit to the Golden Key Division located at Clement Town and Birpur Cantonment in Dehradun. The purpose of the visit was to assess the division's operational readiness and the integration of technology-driven initiatives.

During the visit, Lt Gen Sengupta paid a visit to the Regimental Repair and Maintenance facility. Here, he commended the Golden Key Eagles for their dedication to upgrading and maintaining drones and Next Generation Equipment, which are crucial for sustaining operations and fostering self-reliance within the unit.

In Birpur Cantonment, Lt Gen Sengupta evaluated the advanced training facilities that incorporate cutting-edge weapon systems and drone simulators. He also visited the Drone Training Area, where he was briefed on the current training techniques, operational capabilities, and initiatives being undertaken to enhance drone operations.

The Army Commander expressed his appreciation for the establishment of modern training infrastructure and praised the high standards of training provided to the troops. He highlighted the necessity of realistic training, the integration of advanced technologies, and continuous innovation to boost operational effectiveness and prepare for future combat scenarios.
