Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Central Command, has conducted a review of the operational readiness of troops stationed in the forward areas of the Garhwal Region. This visit reaffirms the Indian Army's unwavering commitment to defending the nation's borders.

During his visit, General Sengupta was briefed on the current security situation and the preparedness along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He praised the military formations for their effective integration of advanced technologies that support continuous surveillance, thereby enhancing situational awareness, early warning systems, and rapid response capabilities in the challenging high-altitude regions.
