Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta Assesses Readiness of Forces in Garhwal and Joshimath

Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Surya Command, recently conducted a visit to forward positions in the Garhwal sector and Joshimath. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the operational readiness and preparedness of the units stationed in the challenging high-altitude terrain of the region.

Throughout his visit, the Army Commander engaged with troops from various units, expressing his admiration for their steadfast dedication, professionalism, and ability to operate under difficult conditions. He praised the formations for effectively integrating advanced technology into their operational frameworks, which has significantly improved situational awareness and the efficiency of their missions.
