Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar Assesses Readiness of Forward Deployment Areas

Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, the General Officer Commanding of Spear Corps, recently conducted an evaluation of the operational readiness of military formations in forward areas. His visit focused on assessing the ability of these units to perform in challenging and remote environments.

While on site, Lt Gen Pendharkar engaged directly with the troops stationed at these forward and isolated posts. This allowed him to gather firsthand information on the conditions on the ground, the challenges faced in operations, and the preparedness strategies in place. The General was updated on the current tasks being undertaken and the overall security situation within the sector.

He praised the personnel for their high morale, professional conduct, and unwavering dedication to national security, despite operating in difficult terrain and conditions.
