Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar Takes Command of Indian Army's Southern Command
On July 1, 2026, Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, took on the role of General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Southern Command, one of the Indian Army's most esteemed operational divisions.
