Lieutenant General DS Kushwah Evaluates Training and Technological Progress at EME School Vadodara
Lieutenant General DS Kushwah, PVSM, AVSM, SM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the MG & G Area, recently conducted an inspection at the EME School located at the Vadodara Military Station. His visit was aimed at evaluating the institution’s training framework, infrastructure, and ongoing technological improvements designed to develop a force prepared for future challenges.

During his tour, Lt Gen Kushwah received a briefing on significant initiatives that align with the Indian Army's Decade of Transformation. These initiatives emphasize innovation, local development, and excellence in technical education across specialized fields. The briefing underscored efforts to update training programs to meet the changing needs of the battlefield.

The General reviewed advanced training facilities and was informed about modern pedagogical approaches involving new-generation weapon systems, small arms, optoelectronic tools, and military vehicles. The focus was on practical training and the assimilation of technology to stay abreast of swift advancements in defense technologies.

Lt Gen Kushwah praised the EME School for its dedication to integrating modern technology and its essential role in developing technically skilled and future-ready soldiers. He highlighted that such institutions are vital in enabling operational readiness and maintaining the Army's technical advantage, ensuring it remains adaptable and effective against emerging threats.
