Kharga Corps Hosts Innovative Drone Engagement Competition to Enhance Defensive Capabilities

The Kharga Warriors demonstrated their innovative operational strategies and combat readiness by hosting an unprecedented Drone Engagement Competition at the Naraingarh Field Firing Ranges. This initiative was designed to enhance the Indian Army's capacity to counter emerging aerial threats.

Participants in this event included 59 teams from various arms and services, each showcasing their advanced skills in identifying, tracking, and neutralizing enemy drones during both daytime and nighttime scenarios. This extensive exercise highlighted the Army's increasing emphasis on counter-drone operations, a critical aspect of contemporary warfare, and validated new operational techniques to improve force protection and battlefield efficiency.

At the prize distribution ceremony, Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, who is the General Officer Commanding of Kharga Corps, praised all the participating teams for their creativity, precision, and commitment to mastering Hard-Kill capabilities, which are crucial for eliminating hostile UAV threats. He applauded their efforts in enhancing the Army's preparedness and ensuring superior operational effectiveness in potential future conflicts.

This groundbreaking initiative by the Kharga Warriors signifies a major advancement in the Indian Army's ongoing transformation, showcasing its dedication to maintaining strength and capability, asserting national will, and continuously adapting to new battlefield technologies under Operation Sindoor.
