Junior Leaders Academy Concludes Subedar Major Course; Ris Maj Kewal Singh Honored

The Junior Leaders Academy (JLA) in Bareilly concluded the Potential Subedar Major Course for Junior Leaders on December 9, 2025. This rigorous four-week program brought together Subedar Majors and aspirants from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Special Frontier Force (SFF), and Assam Rifles, highlighting the academy's essential role in enhancing junior leadership across various services.

The course concentrated on refining leadership skills, managing discipline, administrative tasks, and ensuring troop welfare. These are vital responsibilities for Subedar Majors, who are key to maintaining unit morale and ethos.

At the valedictory event, the Commandant of JLA highlighted the significant role Subedar Majors play in fostering organizational unity and supporting soldiers in both their professional and personal lives.

Ris Maj Kewal Singh of the 10 Punjab Battalion NCC was named the Overall Best Student for his exemplary performance, dedication, and leadership abilities demonstrated during the course.

This training program once again demonstrated JLA Bareilly's dedication to preparing Junior Leaders to meet the highest standards of professionalism in the Armed Forces.
