Jaideep Ahlawat's Inspirational Return to Selection Centre East, Prayagraj
Acclaimed actor Jaideep Ahlawat made a nostalgic return to Selection Centre East in Prayagraj, the location where he once faced the challenges of Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews in his earlier years.

In reflecting on his experiences, Ahlawat offered open reflections on the discipline and values he adopted while preparing for the SSB, having participated twice in the process. He expressed deep admiration for the Army’s Way of Life, noting how the principles of integrity, perseverance, and self-confidence profoundly influenced his perspective, transcending his initial ambition to don a military uniform.

Ahlawat expressed his strong belief in the Indian Army’s impartial and merit-based selection system, emphasizing that his SSB experiences imparted critical life lessons, especially the value of persistence amid challenges. He remarked, “The process builds character,” highlighting that true achievement is more often a result of sustained discipline and persistence rather than immediate victories.

During his engagement with officers and candidates at the centre, Ahlawat underscored the notion that real success—whether in the military or the creative sectors—requires resilience, modesty, and steadfast dedication. His visit to Selection Centre East marked a significant milestone, offering motivation to young hopefuls to remain determined, absorb lessons from all experiences, and persist in pursuing their ambitions.
