ITBP and Local Villagers Celebrate Holi Together at Pangong Lake

Troops from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), stationed at the icy stretches of Pangong Lake at 14,300 feet, celebrated Holi with residents of the nearby Vibrant Villages. The festivities brought a splash of color and warmth to the remote, high-altitude region.

Despite the challenging terrain and freezing conditions, ITBP personnel from the North West Frontier joined local villagers in celebrating the festival. This event underscored the strong connection between the border forces and the communities living in these strategically significant frontier areas.

Local children contributed to the joyful occasion by performing a vibrant cultural program, highlighting the traditions and zeal of the region. This made the celebration an unforgettable experience for both the troops and the residents.

This initiative emphasized ITBP's ongoing efforts to enhance civil-military relations while ensuring the security and well-being of the communities residing along India's high-altitude frontiers.
