IPS Probationers Engage in In-Depth Orientation at CRPF’s Shaurya Officers’ Institute
The 77th Regular Recruit batch of Indian Police Service trainees made a visit to the Shaurya Officers’ Institute of the Central Reserve Police Force today. This visit was part of their structured exposure to one of the country's leading internal security forces.
During their time at the institute, the probationers were provided with a comprehensive briefing on the CRPF's operational roles and structure, as well as its modernization efforts. The discussions highlighted the force's extensive deployment in various operational areas, including counter-insurgency zones and regions affected by Left Wing Extremism, underscoring its crucial role in maintaining internal peace and stability.

Shri GP Singh, Director General of CRPF, delivered the keynote address of the session. He offered enlightening perspectives on the current internal security challenges facing the nation and encouraged the young officers to adhere to the principles of integrity, fitness, professional knowledge, and discipline, which are essential for impactful policing and leadership.
The objective of the visit was to enhance understanding and collaboration between the IPS and CRPF, allowing probationers to grasp the operational realities of India's largest paramilitary force. The interactive session also highlighted the critical need for inter-agency cooperation in addressing evolving threats and ensuring the safety of citizens nationwide.
