Indian Army's Nurnag Battalion Swiftly Rescues Civilians Following Uttarakhand Road Accident

A recent incident on the Pithoragarh–Banbasa route in Uttarakhand showcased a touching example of bravery and compassion by the Nurnag Battalion's troops from the Saidpur Brigade. Following a road accident, they swiftly intervened to assist civilians, underscoring the Indian Army's commitment to protecting both the country's borders and its people during emergencies.
Official reports indicate that the accident occurred when a civilian vehicle lost control on the challenging hilly roads. Soldiers stationed at a nearby Army post, under the leadership of their Commanding Officer, hurried to the scene without hesitation.
Demonstrating remarkable calmness and preparedness, the soldiers administered first aid on-site and quickly transported four injured civilians, including two children, to the closest hospital for additional medical treatment.


Their quick and organized actions ensured that essential aid was delivered during the critical golden hour, effectively saving lives. This act of selflessness highlights the Indian Army's enduring principle of service beyond the call of duty, providing crucial support to citizens in distress.
