Indian Army Trains CISF Personnel at Jaipur Airport in QRT and Drone Operations
The Indian Army has completed a two-week training programme for Central Industrial Security Force personnel deployed at Jaipur Airport, combining Quick Reaction Team instruction with specialised drone training to improve readiness for security duties at one of Rajasthan’s key transport hubs.
The programme was held at Headquarters 322 Infantry Brigade in Jaipur and brought CISF personnel under the guidance of Indian Army instructors. According to the source material, the training was designed to strengthen operational preparedness, improve response capabilities and build closer coordination between the two forces responsible for securing critical infrastructure.
The Quick Reaction Team module focused on preparing personnel to respond effectively to security situations. In parallel, the soldiers also provided drone training, giving the CISF personnel practical exposure to drone operations and related aspects. The source says this was intended to familiarise them with technologies that are becoming increasingly relevant in security operations.

Beyond the individual skill-building aspect, the exercise was also aimed at improving professional cooperation between the Indian Army and the CISF. The source notes that the joint initiative reflects continuing collaboration between the two organisations in enhancing the capabilities of personnel tasked with protecting sensitive and strategic installations.
A closing ceremony marked the end of the two-week programme. Brigadier Pranjal Bhargava, Lieutenant Colonel Sunil Patel and Naveen Bhagat, Commandant and Chief Airport Security Officer (CASO) of Jaipur Airport, were present at the event.

With airport security agencies increasingly required to respond to fast-moving threats and technology-enabled challenges, the training is expected to improve the operational readiness of CISF personnel at Jaipur Airport and strengthen their ability to deal with evolving security situations.
