Indian Army Secures Patent for AI-Driven Automatic Target Classifying System Developed by Colonel Kuldeep Yadav

The Indian Army has achieved a milestone in technological independence by securing a patent for an internally developed innovation known as the "Automatic Target Classifying System based on Artificial Intelligence."
This system, crafted by Colonel Kuldeep Yadav, is capable of independently identifying and categorizing targets on radar, eliminating the need for human input. By incorporating artificial intelligence into radar systems, this breakthrough aims to significantly enhance the Army’s operational efficiency and minimize response times during swiftly changing combat scenarios.

The Army officials have highlighted this development as indicative of the organization's increasing focus on homegrown innovation in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. In a statement, the Army expressed, “This achievement reflects our commitment to fostering innovation, strengthening technological self-reliance, and promoting #Atmanirbharta in the defence sector.”
This AI-driven system is anticipated to be a crucial asset in contemporary warfare, where the ability to detect threats in real time and make swift decisions is paramount for successful missions.
