Indian Army’s Havildar Vikash Chettri Wins Bronze at Mr North East Bodybuilding Championship
Havildar Vikash Chettri of the Assam Regimental Centre has won a bronze medal at the Mr North East Bodybuilding Championship, adding another sporting achievement to the Indian Army’s record of personnel excelling beyond their primary military duties.
The Eastern Command congratulated the Havildar on his performance, saying the result reflected the dedication, discipline and determination required to compete in bodybuilding at a regional level. The command also said Chettri’s success had brought laurels to both the Indian Army and the nation.
Bodybuilding is a demanding discipline that requires sustained physical training, consistency and strict self-control. According to the Eastern Command, Chettri displayed those qualities in reaching the podium at the championship.
